Flywheel
The flywheel is mounted directly to your engines crankshaft and smoothens the firing pulses of the engine. Vehicles are commonly fitted with dual-mass flywheels which can fail, leading to a clattering noise at idle with the clutch pressed and vibrations through the clutch pedal
Clutch
The clutch is the primary component connecting the engine to the gearbox on manual cars. As the clutch plate wears with use, it is common to need to replace the clutch on highers mileage vehicles, typically over 80,000 miles
DSG Fluid Change
Some DSG automatic gearboxes fitted to VAG vehicles (Audi, Seat, Skoda & VW) require periodic replacement of the DSG clutch fluid to retain smooth shifting of gears. Depending on the gearbox fitted this can be every 40,000 to 80,000 miles
Gearbox
Should your gearbox fail we can replace it for you. Gearbox failures are uncommon
